Mother's Day Flowers & Fizz Workshop

The perfect gift for Mums; not only flowers, but also a lovely experience together, creating lasting memories!

Hosted at our floral studio near Hambledon, Hampshire, by owner & founder Millie. Ease into the workshop with delicious cakes accompanied by a glass of fizz, or enjoy a tea or coffee, whilst you meet fellow flower enthusiasts who are also taking part in the workshop. Millie will show you all of the seasonal floral and foliage varieties we will be using, talk you through conditioning and preparing each stem, before demonstrating how to create a beautiful hand tied bouquet. Millie will then guide you as you create your own bouquet, teaching you how to spiral your stems and giving you tips on placement. You will then be shown how to wrap your bouquets as the perfect finishing touch, before taking your bouquet home with you, along with any spare flowers left over - and any spare cake, but we can’t promise there will be!

The workshops are open to everyone; whether you are a complete novice, or have some experience in flower arranging. The workshops are designed to be relaxing and enjoyable, whilst learning a few skills along the way, and creating something truly beautiful to enjoy and be very proud of! As this is a practical workshop and floristry can be a little messy at times, we advise avoiding wearing your favourite clothes or anything in a light colour. You may wish to bring an apron along with you. All materials are included within the workshop, and tools such as florist scissors will be provided for you.

The workshops are only available to attendees ages 18+ due to the use of sharp tools and florist scissors. Each workshop includes a glass of fizz on arrival, and non-alcoholic alternatives will be available. Parking is available on site, and directions to the studio location will be sent prior to the workshop. The workshops last for approximately 2 hours. The images shown are examples and do not reflect the exact products that will be available within the workshop (for instance, we may use different floral varieties to those shown in the images).

Full payment is required at the time of booking. All bookings are non-refundable, but we will do our very best to move you to another date should you need to cancel, but this is not guaranteed. Should the workshop be cancelled by us (Stone and Stem), a full refund will be given to all attendees. Please note that we will be capturing content at each workshop, in the form of photography and videography. By booking onto the workshop you are acknowledging awareness of this, but please notify us if you do not wish to be in any content captured upon arrival.
